Growing up in the automotive industry gives Todd indispensable insight into our Wholesale Auto Auction. After his time as an NCAA athlete in basketball and graduating from the University of Iowa, Todd gained experience in high-level sales and public relations. He left his prestigious position for the opportunity to be General Manager at Des Moines Auto Auction. Todd's life and work experiences give him a unique and valuable insight into this company.

Jami joins our team from the customer side of the auction industry. Jami is the former General Manager of Wrench-n-Go . Jami has 25 years in the automotive industry plus she brings to us the unique and valuable perspective of the customer. As Al's daughter and Todd's sister, we are blessed to grow this family-owned and operated company.

Mindy joined the Des Moines Auto Auction team in May 2021. She brings with her 17 years experience in the automotive industry. Mindy’s main task, along with many others, will be getting the sale ready every week. If you need to run a unit through the sale Mindy is your contact.

Roz joins us after a brief retirement. She brings with her 20 years of experience in the auction business. We are very excited to have Roz join our team. Don't be surprised if you get a call from Roz, she will be working the phones at Des Moines Auto Auction trying to get your business. Some of you might know her as the best burger maker west of the Mississippi.

Thad joins Des Moines Auto Auction after a lifetime career at Watters Autoland. When Thad was with Watters Autoland, he was a very loyal customer. After selling the dealership, he wanted to stay in the car business, and what a better way than to work at the auction. We are so happy to add Thad to our sales team. His marketing and sales ideas are just what we needed. If you miss Thad during his travels rounding up dealers across the state, make sure you come to the auction and watch him as our part-time "Ringman".

Denise joined our staff in 2018. Denise has been working with titles at the Courthouse and different dealerships in the metro area for over 27 years. We are very lucky to have her as our title clerk. If you have not met Denise, please stop in and say hello.

Sheila joined our staff in 2019. Sheila has been in the automobile business for 26 years. She has been at 2 dealerships in the Des Moines area working with all the aspects of the business. She has done a great job fitting in here and learning how our office works. She does everything that needs to be done. Sheila would love you to stop in and introduce yourself to her.

Phil joined our team in 2013. He has been in the auto auction business since 1997. Phil works at our gatehouse as well as helping out in the lot. Phil's day is taken up mostly with doing Courtesy Walk Arounds and taking pictures for the internet. He also helps the lot guys set the sale and helps out in the wash bay when needed.

Zach joined us as a part-time employee in 2015. After graduating from the University of Iowa with a business degree, he joined the auction full-time in 2017. Zach is learning all the aspects of the auction. He is working on the lot doing inventory and helping the other lot attendants set the sale. Working not only at the gatehouse checking in cars, but you will also see him on the G lane block as our upper clerk.

Joe joined our team in 2015. If you need anything out in the lot Joe is one of the lot guys to find. On sale day you will find Joe as the Captain of the B Lane.

Justin joined the Des Moines Auto Auction team in 2010. Most days Justin is in the wash bay cleaning and detailing your cars. He can also be found around the lot parking cars and helping customers. On sale day he is the Captain of the D Lane.

This is our group of drivers. These are the guys that make it possible to have your cars here at the auction. Every day, Monday through Friday, they are picking up cars or dropping them off at your dealership.
